Deer Park is a hamlet and census designated place in the town of Babylon in Suffolk County, NY As of a 2019 census it has an approximate population of 27,479 residents. What is now known a Deer Park was started by Charles Wilson in 1853. Farming was a staple of this small town for most of its history, but after World War II it ceased to be agricultural.
